Home Leisure Direct have won more than half a dozen awards for their website over the last few years.

We've loved working with the UK's premier online leisure retailer, helping to shape their rise from business disruptor to market leader in under a decade. The store has won multiple awards for aesthetics, functionality and the service they provide.

Around 8 years ago we were approached by Home Leisure Direct to help them create an eCommerce store dedicated to games room equipment.

Having spoken to various agencies, the team were impressed by our inherent understanding of their challenges, commercial aptitude and most importantly how we bought into the vision that they had for the business and how to utilise the opportunities of the web.

As the website has gained traction and prestige the challenges evolved with requirements to hone back office systems and management along with ensuring the customer experience remains at the top of the class in the industry.

Strategy

Utilising our bespoke ecommerce platform - Fingertips; we created a unique front end design that clearly differentiated the store from the competition.

The initial launch gained traction very quickly and order processing and management soon became a key requirement for the then exclusively online business. Over the years we have shaped the Content Management System into almost a fully-fledged ERP system; adding updates and improvements as requirements have changed.

As a business shifting gears from start up to up-start and now a mature business we've consistently worked together to not only react to business pressures but also input on the latest technologies and our experiences to with the primary goal of keeping Home Leisure at the leading edge.

Outcome

Together we've consistently innovated; adding a variety of market firsts including mobile compatibility, Amazon style product reviews, predictive search, personalised content as well as new payment options such as Pay with Amazon to name just a few.

These iterative steps have consistently improved the customers experience when engaging with the website and coupled with the renowned customer service of the team at Home Leisure Direct have made them the trusted market leader in the field.

They've achieved a great deal of success including scooping a number of awards including 2016 Best eCommerce website at this years ECMOD awards against some serious household names and now boast showrooms including a Selfridges display.

We continue to work together closely and have a number of exciting enhancements lined up over the coming months.
